The Ontario International Airport (ONT) in California has reported steady passenger levels during April 2026, along with a notable year-to-date increase in both domestic and international travel. In April 2026, ONT welcomed a total of 574,504 passengers, showcasing a minor decline of 0.2% when compared to April 2025. This slight dip primarily stemmed from a decrease in domestic travelers, which numbered 518,928—a drop of 3.7% from the previous year. In contrast, international travel has surged, with 55,576 passengers arriving from abroad, marking a substantial increase of 51.5%. When examining year-to-date statistics for 2026, the airport saw an overall increase of nearly 3%, translating to over 2.1 million travelers. Of these, domestic flights accounted for more than 1.8 million passengers, reflecting a slight decrease of 1.4% from 2025. However, international passenger numbers soared to over 237,000, representing a staggering increase of 56.9%.
