Randstad and Kansai University Workshop: Shaping Gen Z's Future Work Environment
On October 28, 2025, Randstad Co., Ltd., a leading global human resource service provider, is collaborating with Professor Keita Matsushita's seminar at Kansai University to hold a workshop aimed at exploring the ideal workplace envisioned by Generation Z. This event is set to take place at Kansai University's Senriyama Campus in Suita, Osaka.
Aim and Objectives
The primary purpose of this workshop is to encourage the disruptive thinking of Z-generation students as they dive into what an ideal workplace looks like. The workshop establishes a platform where students will express their visions through the planning and creation of social media content, reflecting their insights about contemporary work environments. In an era characterized by diverse values, the workshop seeks to gather practical insights on what companies must do to remain attractive to younger generations.
Workshop Structure
The workshop consists of three parts:
1.
Introduction to Trends: In the first segment, Randstad will present data on the working attitudes of Z-generation, derived from global surveys, alongside discussions on Employee Value Propositions (EVP). This foundational knowledge will set the stage for students.
2.
Group Discussion: The second part will involve students engaging in group discussions to explore specific elements and values that Z-generation seeks in an ideal workplace. They will articulate and verbalize their thoughts, fostering creativity and understanding among peers.
3.
Creation and Feedback: In the third part, the groups will utilize social media platforms, specifically Instagram and TikTok, to plan and produce engaging short videos or visual content based on the ideas produced during discussions. Each group will present their content for feedback from their peers, enriching the overall discourse and refining ideas from diverse perspectives.
