Zoomlion Unveils Cutting-Edge Industrial Embodied Intelligence at World Robot Conference 2026

Zoomlion Showcases Innovations at the World Robot Conference 2026

Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd., known as Zoomlion, made headlines at the World Robot Conference (WRC) 2026 held in Beijing from August 19-23. This event has become a pivotal platform since its inception in 2015, bringing together businesses, researchers, and industry leaders to explore the latest advancements in robotics and their practical applications. This year’s theme emphasized the collaboration between humans and robots, aligning technological developments with industry demands.

At the conference, Zoomlion introduced several advanced robotic products showcasing their commitment to embodied intelligence. Notable among these are the bipedal humanoid robot Z01, the wheeled humanoid robot Z03, and the versatile quadruped robotic dogs D15 and D40. Each of these robots is designed specifically to address practical manufacturing challenges, such as flexible sorting, precise assembly, and the handling of complex wiring harnesses. This tailored approach highlights how Zoomlion leverages embodied intelligence to enhance efficiency in industrial settings.

A key feature of Zoomlion's presentation was Robot Ops, an innovative operating system for embodied intelligence that debuted at the Hannover Messe 2026. Designed as a professional development platform compatible with the era of Software 3.0, Robot Ops comprises four core modules: foundational tools, imitative learning, reinforcement learning, and task coordination. This system supports a closed development cycle that includes data collection, model training, simulation, validation, deployment, and operation, ultimately facilitating applications involving humanoid robots, industrial robots, construction machinery, and autonomous vehicles.

Additionally, Zoomlion introduced ZBrain, a groundbreaking system designed to elevate traditional industrial robots into intelligent operational units. This system empowers robots to perceive their environments, comprehend tasks, make autonomous decisions, and execute processes in closed feedback loops. With ZBrain, users can provide task instructions, enabling the system to perform recognition, planning, execution, and feedback autonomously. This advancement is particularly beneficial for production lines that require high variability and low volume, significantly reducing implementation times while easing the transition to intelligent manufacturing.

Zoomlion’s robots have undergone testing in almost 20 manufacturing scenarios within the Zoomlion Smart City, providing real-world insights and expertise necessary to prepare intelligent technologies and robotic products for large-scale industrial deployment. The tests have illustrated the robots' capabilities and their preparedness for actual manufacturing environments.

Visitors to Zoomlion's exhibit at WRC 2026 will witness a variety of industrial and interactive demonstrations. The Z03 robot is showcased in action as it performs material handling, sorts irregularly shaped components, and conducts rearview mirror pre-assembly. Meanwhile, the Z01 focuses on managing and organizing wiring harnesses. Unique performances, including synchronized dance sequences and gesture-based interactions with the Z01 robot, create an engaging experience for attendees.

As Zoomlion continues to push the boundaries of embodied intelligence from research labs to industrial applications, it aims to enhance smart manufacturing across various sectors. Attendees of the World Robot Conference 2026 can find Zoomlion at Booth D403 in Hall D, where they can explore the future of robotics and industrial innovation firsthand.
