GAC Officially Enters the Israeli Market

On September 3, 2025, GAC made a significant stride in its global expansion by officially entering the Israeli market in collaboration with UNION GROUP. The landmark event, themed 'AION Home,' took place at Ronit Farm, drawing notable attendees from the automotive industry and potential consumers alike.

Among the distinguished guests were Zhang Lei, Assistant General Manager and Executive Vice President of GAC International's European Regional Center; Ran Danai, CEO of UNION GROUP and President of Orion Mobility; and Elad Goldfarb, General Manager of Orion Mobility. Their presence underscored the importance of this milestone in GAC's international strategy.

To showcase the unique appeal of its AION brand, GAC designed a layered exhibition space that featured various interactive experiences. One of the highlights was a versatile family room emphasizing the AION vehicle's remarkable range of 510 km and spacious interior. A library styled with modern shelving showcased the brand's key technologies, while the living room area served as the main hub for brand-consumer interactions.

Three flagship models made their debut during the event: the comfort-focused AION V SUV, the luxury HYPTEC HT SUV, and the compact AION Y SUV. Looking ahead, GAC plans to introduce additional Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) as part of its future offerings.

In partnership with Orion, GAC is set to establish five sales points by the end of this year, aiming to provide intelligent and eco-friendly mobility solutions guided by its service-first philosophy. Following the market launch, GAC has been working diligently on building a multichannel sales network. The first three channels were officially established during the launch period, covering central and northern Israel to better cater to the diverse needs of consumers.

In alignment with its brand philosophy 'Local for Local,' these channels will be backed by professional service teams to offer comprehensive support to customers, from vehicle selection and purchase to after-sales service. This comprehensive approach reinforces GAC's commitment to nurturing long-term trust and strengthens its service ecosystem in Israel.

The entry of GAC into the Israeli market and the establishment of its channel network are pivotal steps in executing its global strategy, known as 'One GAC 2.0.' Moving forward, GAC intends to enhance partnerships with local dealers, leveraging its foothold in Israel to continually improve its product portfolio and service system while further advancing the brand’s global development.
