Loft to Open New Store in Shinjuku
Loft Co., Ltd., led by President Koji Ando, is set to unveil its latest retail outlet, the "Shinjuku Sanchome Loft," on November 21, 2025. Located on the third floor of the renowned "Shinjuku Marui Main Building," this new establishment will add to Loft's portfolio of innovative and themed shops across Tokyo, marking the company's 38th location in the metropolitan area.
A New Chapter in Shinjuku
The Shinjuku Marui Main Building is a long-established commercial hub, conveniently situated within walking distance from Shinjuku Station and directly connected to Shinjuku Sanchome Station. The opening of the "Shinjuku Sanchome Loft" is a significant return for Loft, as they previously operated stores in Shinjuku from 2004 to 2007 and from 2016 until March 16, 2025.
Upholding Loft's founding spirit, "The vessel of time," the new store is designed to resonate with the lively atmosphere of Shinjuku, one of the world’s busiest transport hubs. Customers can expect a distinct selection of products that reflect local culture, collaborations with neighborhood businesses, and specially curated merchandise designed to attract both local patrons and international visitors. Notably, the store will feature a souvenir shop, "LOFT MEETS JAPAN," aimed at offering unique Japanese products specializing in inbound tourism.
A Wide Range of Offerings
The store will showcase approximately 25,300 different products across various categories. Approximately 387 tsubo (around 1,280 square meters) of retail space will present goods such as beauty and health items (8,000 types), stationery (11,300 types), a variety of general goods (4,700 types), and lifestyle products (1,300 types). This unique layout offers customers a comfortable shopping experience while allowing them to engage with new and exciting product offerings.
Vintage neon signs inspired visuals will enliven the store's decor, creating a vibrant shopping atmosphere that embodies the spirit of Shinjuku.
Exclusive Merchandising Collaborations
To celebrate the store’s grand opening, the following special collaborations are planned:

TAKANO x LOFT: Loft Fruit Parlor
A collaboration with the esteemed fruit specialist, Shinjuku Takano, will feature an array of original fruit-themed merchandise available exclusively in the new Loft shop and select Shinjuku Takano locations.

Products featuring iconic designs from Shinjuku-based companies, such as Nakamura-ya, Oiwake Dango Honpo, and Menya Musashi, will be available as limited edition merchandise, including stickers and keychains.

This specialty shop within Loft will focus on unique Japanese items, categorized into themes highlighting traditional aesthetics and practical use.
Holiday Gift Collection and Additional Events
As the holiday season approaches, Loft will also present a curated range of gift items from November 21 to December 25. Items will include seasonal gifts, holiday-themed products, and exclusive items to suit various occasions.
