Wrangler and Coors Banquet Introduce New Western Apparel Collection Celebrating Heritage

Wrangler and Coors Banquet Launch a Unique Western Apparel Line

In an exciting partnership sure to delight fans of Western culture, Wrangler® and Coors Banquet® have unveiled their first-ever co-branded apparel line, showcasing a collection dedicated to the spirit of the American West. This collaboration blends Wrangler's rich history of crafting durable, quality Western wear with Coors Banquet's long-standing tradition of brewing beer steeped in Western heritage.

A Historical Collaboration

The new Wrangler x Coors Banquet Collection, made available on August 21, draws from both brands' deep roots in the Western lifestyle. Wrangler has been outfitting cowboys for generations, while Coors Banquet has been a beloved beer brand since 1873. This unique collection includes over twenty distinct pieces, each featuring Coors Banquet's iconic branding interwoven with traditional Western motifs.

Among the lineup are denim vests adorned with custom Coors-themed embroidery, Western-inspired artwork on pullovers, and the classic Wrangler® 13MWZ Cowboy Cut® Jeans, which sport exclusive copper hardware. Graphic t-shirts rounding out the collection carry vivid designs and messages that celebrate the shared heritage of these two American icons.

A Tribute to Western Spirit

"This collaboration is about celebrating the longstanding Western spirit that both brands embody," expresses Marcelo Pascoa, Vice President of Marketing for the Coors Family of Brands. This collection not only invites fans to connect with the Coors Banquet brand beyond just the beverage but also encourages them to showcase their love for Western culture in their everyday attire.

Innovative Marketing Approach

To enhance the excitement surrounding this collection, Wrangler and Coors Banquet partnered with artist Caitlin Hatch to create a series of hand-painted posters called 'Rocky Mountain Watercolors.' These Western-style posters double as unique national advertisements created with actual Coors Banquet beer—blending artistry and branding in an unprecedented way. The posters are beautifully crafted using a custom watercolor blend made from 100% Rocky Mountain water and will prominently feature the limited-edition apparel.

Engagement Through Events

To further engage their fanbase, Wrangler and Coors Banquet are hosting a series of pop-up events across significant cities, including Dallas, Nashville, and Denver. The 'Legends of the West Tour' aims to take fans on an immersive experience showcasing the full merch line, complete with exclusive giveaways, surprise musical performances, and opportunities to purchase the collection in person.

Availability

The Wrangler x Coors Banquet collection is set to be available in Wrangler stores and select Western retailers, as well as online at shop.coors.com and wrangler.com. Furthermore, ten limited-edition prints of the watercolor art will be released daily at noon CST from August 21 to September 3, allowing fans to own a piece of this collaborative art.
