Scheduled for three days from August 12 to 14, 2026, this comprehensive course empowers participants to grasp essential skills in web system development using Laravel.

Why Laravel?

Laravel is an open-source framework renowned for its ability to streamline PHP web development, boasting a significant share of the global development community. It is an ideal choice for individuals with basic PHP knowledge but lacking exposure to framework-based development or those wishing to deepen their understanding of web system development processes.

Course Structure

Throughout the course, participants will work hands-on with Laravel version 13, constructing their development environments on Docker. The curriculum covers crucial aspects of web application creation, including:

• - Setting up the development environment
• - Learning about routing, controllers, and Blade
• - Connecting databases and utilizing Eloquent ORM
• - Implementing authentication features and much more.

By the end of the course, attendees will have completed a CRUD application, gaining a full understanding of the fundamental development workflow in Laravel. Participants will also learn about topics relevant to professional practice, such as code organization, validation, and error handling, equipping them with knowledge applicable to real-world scenarios.

Preregistration Information

Before signing up, potential participants must note:

• - Basic development experience in PHP is required.
• - Familiarity with fundamental Docker operations (like starting and stopping containers) is necessary, but advanced knowledge for Docker file creation is not.
• - The course materials will be distributed for review purposes, but no archives will be available for later viewing, so we recommend attending all sessions live.

The focus of this course is on grasping the foundational concepts of Laravel. Therefore, certain advanced topics involving front-end technologies such as Livewire, Filament, Vite, npm, or Tailwind CSS will not be covered. The goal is to solidify participants' competence in server-side development through Laravel, equipping them with skills transferable to other business system developments.

Sessions will run daily from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM from August 12 to 14, 2026. The course will be led by Kazuma Sekiguchi, CTO at Comsent Co., Ltd., who has extensive experience in website creation, system development, and program development.
