SB C&S Honored with Strategic Partnership Award at DDN Partner Summit 2026

SB C&S Corporation was recently honored with the prestigious "Strategic Partnership Award" during the DDN Partner Summit 2026, hosted by DataDirect Networks Japan Co., Ltd., located in Chiyoda, Tokyo, and led by CEO Roberto Trindl. The award recognizes partner companies that have made substantial contributions to strategic collaboration and market expansion with DDN in the fields of AI, HPC, and large-scale data infrastructures.

The "Strategic Partnership Award" is granted based on comprehensive evaluations that include sales performance, technical support capabilities, proposal activities in the enterprise market, and efforts in joint business promotion. It highlights the significant achievements of companies that excel in their fields.

In FY25, SB C&S undertook various initiatives under its strategic partnership with DDN, including activities at the "C&S AI INNOVATION FACTORY" (AIF). These initiatives contributed to product stability, collaborative marketing strategies, and sales support through the use of their extensive distribution network. Within the AIF, DDN products are utilized as one of the storage solutions supporting GPU use, and they are also introduced as part of hands-on training curricula, demonstrating a commitment to practical technical support and market awareness.

These efforts have been highly valued for expanding joint businesses and enhancing market penetration in the AI infrastructure sector, leading to the receipt of this award. Moving forward, SB C&S aims to further strengthen its collaboration with DDN to support enterprises in leveraging AI and expanding their business, as well as to promote the proliferation and development of AI infrastructure in the domestic market.

The award ceremony featured several notable figures, including Eitaro Sakakibara, Executive Officer and CTO responsible for ICT business at SB C&S, and Roberto Trindl, CEO of DataDirect Networks Japan. Akimoto Rei, Executive Officer overseeing sales at DataDirect Networks Japan, also provided an endorsement, emphasizing the expansive distribution network that SB C&S has utilized. This network has significantly contributed to exploring new channels and expanding DDN's business within the AI infrastructure market. Furthermore, continuous engagement in market awareness activities, such as hands-on EXAScaler training sessions and technology validation at the AIF, showcases SB C&S's ongoing dedication to this sector.

Akimoto's endorsement highlighted the expectation for continued collaboration between the two companies through joint proposals and ecosystem enhancement in the AI and data center market, resulting in further market expansion, which was a pivotal reason for SB C&S receiving the Strategic Partnership Award.
