Exciting Announcement: Kazari and Unonosarasa as Ambassadors for Japan's 63rd Model Hobby Show
The 63rd Japan Model Hobby Show has made waves with the announcement of its new ambassadors: the talented Kazari and the versatile Unonosarasa. Kazari has been appointed as Grand Ambassador, while Unonosarasa takes on the role of Chief Ambassador. This marks a significant moment as both figures bring their unique backgrounds and creative spirits to the event, which is highly anticipated by hobby enthusiasts across the nation.
Meet Grand Ambassador Kazari
Kazari, born on February 25 in Mie Prefecture, is a former member of the Japan Self-Defense Forces and has transitioned into a multifaceted career as a talent, actress, and contemporary artist. After graduating from Nihon University College of Art, Kazari served in the Ground Self-Defense Force before stepping onto the stage of entertainment and art. Impressively, this is Kazari's third consecutive year serving as an ambassador for the Japan Model Hobby Show, having held the position in the 61st and 62nd events as well.
Kazari’s hobbies include cosplay, camping, and touring, which tie into her artistic vision and creativity. She has expressed her excitement about being involved in the modeling world once again and is committed to fulfilling her responsibilities as Grand Ambassador. "I’m honored to return for the third time to the Japan Model Hobby Show! I love creating art and making things, so this opportunity means a lot to me. I'll do my best to live up to the Grand Ambassador title!" she commented.

Introducing Chief Ambassador Unonosarasa
Following her lead, Unonosarasa joins as the Chief Ambassador. Born on December 19 in Nara Prefecture, she began her journey in the arts by practicing classical ballet at a tender age of four, eventually advancing her studies at Kyoto Ballet School. She has also made a name for herself as a member of the professional baseball dance performance team.
Today, Unonosarasa shines as a talent, dancer, and fitness studio representative, embodying many artistic pursuits. Last year, she made a memorable appearance as a special guest at the 62nd Japan Model Hobby Show, showcasing her growing enthusiasm for the world of modeling.

Upcoming Variety Show Featuring Kazari and Unonosarasa
In addition to their roles at the Hobby Show, both Kazari and Unonosarasa will be appearing in the variety program titled
Plamo ga Daisuki! Tadaima, Seisaku Chuu airing on TV Asahi Channel 1. The show, which features special guests Kato Tekkyuu and Yokoyama Kiyoshi from the Yoshimoto Plastic Model Club, follows the two ambassadors as they tackle the art of model-making, delivering laughs and insights along the way. The series, filled with intrigue and entertainment, will air starting Friday, September 19, with new episodes every week for a total of four episodes.

The 63rd Japan Model Hobby Show, themed “Create! Play! Enjoy!”, is set to showcase a broad range of hobbies including plastic models, radio-controlled toys, figures, train sets, miniature cars, and airsoft guns. This annual gathering not only allows hobbyists to exhibit their creations but also serves as an excellent opportunity for enthusiasts to explore the vibrant world of hobbies.
For those interested in attending, the event will take place at Tokyo Big Sight, featuring a trade day on October 17, 2025, followed by public days on October 18-19. Tickets are priced at ¥1,200 at the door or ¥1,000 in advance; entry is free for middle school students and younger.
