BAYPORT, Minn., March 27, 2025 – In a momentous occasion, Andersen Windows has proudly announced the production of its 10 millionth 100 Series window. This achievement underscores the brand's commitment to quality, innovation, and craftsmanship, reinforcing its status as America's #1 trusted window and door brand among builders, contractors, architects, and homeowners.

Since its launch in 2008, during the difficult times of the Great Recession, the 100 Series has emerged as one of Andersen’s most successful product lines. It was introduced at a time when many competitors were retracting, offering promise and innovative solutions to builders and homeowners alike. Designed from Andersen's exclusive Fibrex® material, the 100 Series merges wood's strength with the low-maintenance appeal of vinyl.

In a gesture symbolizing community support and sustainability, Andersen has decided to donate 100 Series windows to a Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity home situated in St. Paul’s “The Heights” neighborhood. This community project is significant, comprising 147 mid-density affordable homes, marking Habitat for Humanity’s largest endeavor to date. The donation coincides with the proximity of Andersen’s Bayport manufacturing site, which produces the 100 Series line.

Brandon Berg, senior vice president of research, development, and innovation at Andersen Corporation, emphasized, “This milestone represents the hard work of our team at Andersen. We are proud of the impact our 100 Series windows have made across numerous homes in America and are eager to continue our support for Habitat for Humanity, making affordable homeownership accessible to more families.”

The Heights initiative is a pioneering development focused on crafting energy-efficient homes. It aligns perfectly with the features of Andersen’s 100 Series windows, which boast 40% reclaimed wood fiber content, sourced from the manufacturing of Andersen’s wood windows. These unique windows not only enhance energy efficiency but also reinforce sustainability, ensuring homes remain environmentally friendly and cost-effective.
