The Possible Zone (TPZ), a pioneering nonprofit committed to delivering transformative career-connected learning experiences for high school students, has appointed Bridgette Gray as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective May 4, 2026. This announcement marks a significant milestone for both Gray and the organization, as TPZ strives to expand its footprint and enhance its impact on youth development.

Bridgette Gray is a widely recognized leader in workforce development and social impact, boasting over 25 years of experience in creating equitable pathways to economic opportunities. Her previous role as CEO of ideas42 allowed her to lead initiatives aimed at dismantling systemic barriers to economic security through the innovative application of behavioral sciences. Additionally, during her time as Chief Customer Officer at Opportunity@Work, Gray played a crucial role in influencing policy changes, including Maryland's groundbreaking decision to eliminate degree requirements for state jobs. Previously, Gray was the Chief Impact Officer at Per Scholas, where she was instrumental in scaling the organization's capacity to provide high-quality technology training to thousands of learners across the nation.

Founded in 2009 by Becky Ruhmann Levin and Mark Levin, The Possible Zone has empowered over 2,300 young individuals in Massachusetts through a project-based education model. This model integrates entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and practical experiences, which are designed to expand the traditional educational boundaries. TPZ aims to create a level playing field for students from varying backgrounds, particularly those who have been historically underserved.
