National Police Association Endorses the Fuel the Force Act of 2026



In a pivotal move to address the staffing crisis experienced by police departments across the nation, the National Police Association (NPA) has endorsed the Fuel the Force Act of 2026 (H.R. 7210). This legislation is designed to mitigate one of the greatest challenges in modern policing — recruitment and retention of officers.
