A Celebration of Sicilian Flavors
This year’s exhibition is themed “
PRIO,” meaning happiness in Sicilian dialect, shining a spotlight on the idyllic island of
Sicily. Renowned for its diverse culinary offerings, from seafood to citrus and almonds, Sicily's food culture will be well represented through local cafes and trattorias participating in the event. Attendees can indulge in traditional Sicilian cuisine, desserts, and a selection of wines that encapsulate the island's spirit.
The STIFFONTE Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Among the star products at the exhibition, the
STIFFONTE extra virgin olive oil is a standout. Priced at
4,698 JPY (including tax for 229 grams), this premium olive oil is made exclusively using the
Correggiolo variety, delivering a low acidity level of 0.23%.
The meticulous process of extraction, which involves pressing olives within six hours of harvest, ensures the preservation of freshness and aroma. It boasts a well-rounded profile featuring notes of artichoke, arugula, and fresh almonds, concluding with a hint of spice and bitterness, making it an excellent companion for salads, bread, and carpaccio.
Winner of the
Gold Award at the Masters of Olive Oil International Contest 2024, this oil exemplifies the hallmark of quality and excellence that Palazzo di Barignana embodies.
