Introducing Mille Glace: A Unique Summer Treat from GARIGUETTE with Häagen-Dazs

GARIGUETTE Launches Its First Ice Cream Dessert

The renowned millefeuille specialty store, GARIGUETTE, is set to debut its first ice cream dessert, Mille Glace, in collaboration with the premium ice cream brand Häagen-Dazs. Starting June 14, 2025, customers at GARIGUETTE locations in Omotesando, Tokyo, and Umeda, Osaka, will be able to indulge in this refreshing summer treat.

A Summer Delight

GARIGUETTE's Mille Glace aims to capture the essence of summer while staying true to its millefeuille roots. Combining freshly baked homemade pastry with Häagen-Dazs ice cream and homemade sorbet created from fresh fruits, Mille Glace is presented as a "live dessert" experience, freshly completed right before the customer’s eyes on a cold stone surface. This exciting approach brings together the textures and flavors of both brands, creating a unique and joyful dessert experience.

The Creation Process

In developing Mille Glace, GARIGUETTE focused on how to harmonize the distinct flavors of its signature crispy pastry with the rich, silky texture of Häagen-Dazs ice cream. This endeavor involved careful selection of ingredients and meticulous experimentation with textures and flavors. The result is a dessert that not only looks stunning but also delivers a delectable balance of freshness and indulgence.

The live presentation on a cold stone adds a playful twist to the dessert, enhancing the sensory experience for customers as they watch their dessert being crafted right in front of them. This concept has been aptly named "The Summer Mix – Mariage de Dessert by GARIGUETTE with Häagen-Dazs,” showcasing the synergy between the two esteemed brands.

Flavors that Delight

Mille Glace will feature a core menu of eight delicious flavors, alongside rotating seasonal flavors introduced monthly. Customers can look forward to unique offerings like the “Peach Melba” in July, highlighting the lusciousness of ripe seasonal peaches. Each visit promises something new and exciting for dessert lovers. Some of the signature flavors include:
  • - Napoleon
