Chuck Bonfiglio Takes Office as Florida Realtors® President



Orlando, Florida – Chuck Bonfiglio, the esteemed broker-owner of AAA Realty Group in Plantation, will assume the role of president of Florida Realtors®, the state's largest professional trade association comprising over 230,000 members. This significant leadership transition will take place during the 2026 Mid-Winter Business Meetings, scheduled from January 8 to 11 at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando.

During his inauguration, Bonfiglio expressed his optimism regarding the state of the real estate market in Florida. He stated, "Stepping into this role, I'm encouraged by the momentum we're seeing in real estate overall and especially here in Florida." His commitment to representing Realtors and advocating for their interests in the industry was clear, stating, "We take the responsibility of representing our members seriously and stay focused on what's in their best interest."

As Bonfiglio looks forward to 2026, he emphasizes the importance of addressing critical issues facing Florida homeowners, namely taxes, insurance, and housing affordability, which remain pivotal concerns for many residents. He remarked, "We’re tracking these closely, and as the market adjusts, we’re optimistic that improved conditions will create more opportunities for Floridians and bolster the strong demand from families and businesses moving to our state."

With a profound background in regional, state, and national real estate associations, Bonfiglio has held a strong presence in the industry for many years. He is an active member of the Broward, Palm Beaches & St. Lucie Realtors® and has previously served as the president of his local association, establishing a solid foundation of experience in residential brokerage. His participation in numerous committees and task forces for both Florida Realtors and the National Association of Realtors® spans over a decade, showcasing his dedication to the profession.

In his new role, Bonfiglio intends to enhance the real estate services provided by Realtors, emphasizing the need for innovation, advocacy, and support to foster business success. He remarked, "Advocacy has always been at the core of what we do, and it will stay at the forefront. Affordability remains a major focus across the country, and we want to ensure our members have clear, reliable information to help those they serve navigate these challenges."

Florida Realtors® has also established a strong slate of officers for 2026, including President-Elect Jorge Guerra Jr. from Miami, Vice President Jeff Levine from Boca Raton, Treasurer Cyndee Haydon of Seminole (Tampa Bay), Secretary Fernando Arencibia Jr. from Miami, with Margy Grant serving as the CEO. The collective experience and leadership from this team will bolster the organization’s mission to enhance the real estate landscape across Florida.
