OLX Group Introduces Innovative AI Tools for Trustworthy Buying and Selling Experiences

OLX Group's Latest Innovations

OLX Group has made a significant leap in the world of online marketplaces by introducing two innovative AI-driven tools: Agentic Selling and DealFinder. These advancements aim to enhance the buying and selling experience for users while ensuring that trust in artificial intelligence plays a pivotal role in how these tools are utilized.

A Step Forward in Marketplace Technology

At the recent CLAIM Online 2026 summit held on October 27, OLX Group unveiled its vision for the future of online transactions. The company, known for handling nearly 60 million listings daily across various platforms, has been integrating AI into its operations for over eight years. Today, they have 86 machine learning use cases and 14 agentic solutions that streamline user experience across their marketplaces.

Agentic Selling: Empowering Sellers

Agentic Selling, which is currently live for 20% of private sellers on OLX’s Otodom platform in Poland, is designed to guide individuals through the process of listing and selling their properties. From valuation to posting, this tool simplifies what can often be a complicated task. By providing step-by-step assistance, OLX enables sellers to focus on closing deals while the AI handles the more intricate aspects of listing.

DealFinder: Your Buying Assistant

On the buying side, DealFinder has emerged as an essential tool for prospective buyers. Initially tested in Portugal with 2,000 users, this innovative assistant operates via WhatsApp, allowing users to conduct searches for items using text, images, or voice. DealFinder not only provides real-time alerts for price changes or new item listings but also boasts an impressive conversion rate of 18% from inquiry to contact in its beta phase.

Trust in AI: A Consumer Demand

The introduction of these tools comes at a crucial time when research indicates a growing reliance on AI while simultaneously highlighting the need for transparency and control in decision-making. A recent survey showed that among young adults aged 18 to 29 in several European countries, while 92% to 96% use AI tools, less than 41% feel prepared for the changes AI might bring to job markets. Key findings include the fact that 37% of Polish youths express high concerns about AI's impact on jobs.

Despite the apprehension surrounding AI, OLX’s career-enhancing tools like CV Optimiser and AI Interviewer are helping young job seekers navigate these changes effectively. With a reported 88% of users finding CV Optimiser beneficial and 90% satisfied with the AI Interviewer, OLX is committed to building customer confidence in AI technologies.

A Preference for Human Judgment

In the realm of real estate, user data from OLX platforms in Romania and Poland indicates that most participants still prefer human valuations over AI-generated estimates. Only 5% expressed trust in AI valuations compared to 36% in realtor estimates. Furthermore, 78% of users want any AI intervention in listings to be clearly disclosed. This feedback has encouraged OLX to enhance transparency, equipping their tools with data-supported insights while ensuring that sellers retain the final authority on transactional decisions.

Conclusion: Fostering a Trustworthy Marketplace

Christian Gisy, CEO of OLX Group, emphasizes the importance of trust in AI applications: "People want to understand the reasoning behind AI recommendations and retain ultimate control over their choices. This expectation shapes our standards across all platforms."

As OLX Group continues to evolve, their dedication to fostering a trustworthy online environment is evident. With tools like Agentic Selling and DealFinder leading the charge, OLX is poised to redefine how users buy and sell in the digital marketplace, aligning cutting-edge technology with the sincere need for transparency and control.
