Tweddle Group and iNAGO Unveil AVA: A Cutting-Edge AI Vehicle Assistant at CES 2025

Tweddle Group and iNAGO Introduce AVA

The automotive industry is set to experience a groundbreaking innovation as Tweddle Group, a leader in product support technology, prepares to unveil their advanced vehicle assistant, AVA, at CES 2025. Scheduled for January 7-10, 2025, in Las Vegas, AVA promises to redefine how drivers interact with vehicle information and assistance.

What is AVA?

AVA, short for Advanced Vehicle Assistant, is an AI-powered multimedia information application designed to integrate seamlessly into vehicle consoles. According to Todd Headlee, President of Tweddle Group, AVA aims to bring hands-free product information directly to drivers, enhancing safety and usability. With voice-activated capabilities, drivers can engage in natural conversations with the system, allowing them to retrieve information about their vehicle, notifications, and alerts.

Claude Vanbeveren, Chief Business Development Officer of Tweddle Group, emphasizes the dynamism of AVA as opposed to traditional printed and PDF manuals. “Printed manuals are static; with AVA, OEMs will gain valuable insights into how users interact with the content,” Vanbeveren explained. This capability enables manufacturers to update their materials in real time, ensuring that vehicle information is always current and relevant.

Enhanced Communication

One of AVA's standout features is its notification system. Mike Flaherty, Vice President of Product Development at Tweddle Group, highlights its importance for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in communicating critical messages to drivers effectively. “AVA allows OEMs to send essential alerts directly, in a safe and timely manner,” said Flaherty. This includes the ability to describe vehicle types, recall statuses, and provide instructions on next steps, thus streamlining the recall process and guiding customers to authorized dealers.

The collaboration with iNAGO has resulted in an innovative GenAI component that powers AVA's conversational capabilities. Ron DiCarlantonio, founder and President of iNAGO, asserted that AVA stands out in the burgeoning market for AI vehicle assistants: “Trained specifically in the automotive sector, AVA's AI uses high-quality product information from Tweddle Group, which results in a remarkable accuracy—20% more precise than GPT, according to academic studies.”

A Bright Future

Both companies have mentioned the seamless integration of AVA with the vehicle’s CAN bus, which allows for a more comprehensive understanding of the vehicle's systems and enhances the overall user experience. A promising roadmap for future updates indicates that AVA will evolve and adapt to emerging needs within the automotive landscape.

Attendees at CES 2025 will have the opportunity to see AVA in action through live demos and learn how this groundbreaking assistant can transform their driving experience. The event promises to be a milestone for Tweddle Group and iNAGO, showcasing cutting-edge solutions that elevate vehicle ownership and support.
