Located just a five-minute walk from the JR Kyoto Station's central ticket gate, NIWA allows guests to enjoy a cozy experience amidst the charm of winter. The event features various delectable oden dishes made from local ingredients including the unique Mibu greens and the beloved red konnyaku, a local specialty from Shiga Prefecture. These traditional dishes highlight the taste and essence of Kyoto's seasonal offerings.

To enhance the dining experience, NIWA has selected premium sake from Fushimi, a famous sake-producing district in Kyoto. Guests can enjoy either warm sake, perfectly pairing with the rich flavors of oden, or chilled sake, allowing them to savor a variety of aromatic tastes. With outdoor heaters set up for warmth and complimentary “hanten” coats available for a limited time, NIWA is designed to provide a delightful atmosphere where guests can fully experience the beauty of Kyoto's winter nights.
