Celebrating Excellence: Red Arrow Diner Wins 2025 Business of the Year Award

Red Arrow Diner: A Beacon of Community and Quality in New Hampshire

The esteemed Red Arrow Diner has earned the title of 2025 Hospitality and Tourism Business of the Year, awarded by Business NH Magazine in collaboration with the NH Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. This accolade was presented during the annual Business and Business Leader of the Year Awards Luncheon held in Manchester, consolidating the diner's reputation as a cornerstone of the community and a leader in the hospitality sector.

In honor of this recognition, the Red Arrow Diner is launching an exciting initiative called Toast to You Tuesdays, where loyal patrons can enjoy a special buy-one-get-one-free breakfast offer applicable to all four of its locations every Tuesday. This promotional offer continues until July 8, 2025, celebrating the diner’s committed relationship with its customers and community.

Carol Lawrence, co-owner and president of Red Arrow Diner, expressed deep gratitude upon receiving the award. She stated, "We are incredibly honored to be among the esteemed Business of the Year award winners in this recognition of business leadership, community service, and chamber of commerce involvement in New Hampshire." The diner’s legacy, she explained, is a result of decades of dedication to delivering quality and creativity, aiming to make a positive mark on both its clientele and the hospitality industry as a whole.

Founded in 1922, the iconic diner has long been a favorite destination, not only for local consumers but also for celebrities and politicians. Carol Lawrence, who purchased the diner in 1987, has expanded the brand significantly over the years, making it a beloved establishment across southern New Hampshire, including locales such as Concord, Londonderry, and Nashua. Notably, the Manchester location recently celebrated its 100th anniversary, marking a century of serving delicious food and fostering community connections.

Amanda Wihby, co-owner and chief operations officer, reaffirmed the diner’s commitment to quality and community service, saying, "We are proud of our dedicated staff and thankful to our loyal customers for making this all possible." This sentiment is echoed by the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce President Timothy Sink, who championed the diner in his Business of the Year nomination letter. He praised the Red Arrow Diner for successfully merging tradition with innovation while committing to its employees and customer base, thereby showcasing the best of New Hampshire’s business community.

This recognition marks the second time the Red Arrow Diner has achieved the Business of the Year title in the Hospitality/Tourism category. The diner has also been the recipient of various other honors, including the Manchester Historic Association's Century Club Award in 2022.

With over 500,000 breakfasts served annually, Red Arrow remains a significant player in the culinary landscape, actively generating goodwill through volunteer efforts and community donations. The diner has an extensive history of local and national recognition, having been featured in programs like the Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and various prominent publications like USA Today and Food Network Magazine.

As the Red Arrow Diner celebrates this latest achievement, it continues to exemplify the spirit of hospitality and community service, ensuring its place as a beloved institution in New Hampshire. To learn more about the diner and its offerings, visit Red Arrow Diner's official website.
