His responsibilities also extended to league reporting for the National Basketball Association and the National Hockey League.

Collins has also made significant contributions as a Treasurer and board member for various foundations, which demonstrate his commitment to community engagement within the sports domain. His previous roles have included senior financial positions at both public and private companies across various sectors such as sports entertainment, energy, transportation, and restaurants.

Notably, Collins held a senior financial executive role at Base Entertainment, where he managed financial operations for live shows and exhibitions across North and South America and Asia. His career commenced at Ernst & Young, gaining expertise as a senior auditor and earning his certification as a Public Accountant.
