Seminar on Technical Public Servants at TAC

On December 6, 2025, a seminar titled "New Career Strategies for Technical Public Servants" will be held at TAC Shinjuku School from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. This informative session features an experienced instructor, Yoshihiko Shinmura, a former special district staff member, who will share his insights on transitioning into a technical public service career, the rewards of the job, and much more.

Seminar Overview

The seminar is designed for those typically in their late 20s and above, who have several years of work experience in private companies or other sectors. Participants will learn about:

3. Examination Systems and Current Recruitment Trends

Following the main presentation, there will be a Q&A session where attendees can ask various questions related to the experience exam and public service. Yoshihiko Shinmura will ensure that all inquiries are addressed thoroughly.

About the Instructor

Yoshihiko Shinmura, the head instructor for TAC's Experienced Course, has a rich background in engineering, having graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering. After years as a technical staff member involved in civil and urban development, he was appointed deputy district head. He has supervised numerous infrastructure and urban regeneration projects, playing a vital role in supporting community living standards. Using his extensive experience not only in the field but also as an interviewer for both new graduate and experienced hiring processes, he aims to inspire the next generation of public service technical specialists.
