On November 15, 2025, Okayama University hosted the annual memorial service at Junko Fukutake Hall to honor individuals who contributed to anatomical education and understanding diseases through pathological examinations. This gathering served as a heartfelt tribute to the body donors who selflessly contributed to the enhancement of medical knowledge and education.

The ceremony saw approximately 440 attendees, including families of the donors, faculty, and students. Participants paid their respects by offering flowers at the altar, commemorating 127 donors who had aided in dissection education and pathological examinations from September 1 of the previous year to August 31 of the current year.

Key figures in the event included Jun Wada, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Satoshi Kubota, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry. Both leaders expressed their profound gratitude for the noble acts of the donors, promising to leverage their contributions for future treatments of diseases.
