Huawei Cloud Unveils Partner Policies for Shared Success in AI Era
Huawei Cloud's Vision for 2026 Global Sales Partner Policies
On January 22, 2026, Huawei Cloud launched its Global Sales Partner Policies during an event in Singapore themed "Shared Intelligence, Shared Success." The announcement was led by Charles Yang, Senior Vice President of Huawei and President of Huawei Cloud Global Marketing and Sales Services. This new policy initiative is set to enhance trust, increase profitability, simplify cooperation, and support growth for its partners, aiming to create a healthy, thriving, and self-sustaining ecosystem.
Enhancing Trust and Profitability
Charles Yang emphasized the tremendous opportunities and challenges that the smart era presents for Huawei Cloud and its partners. He stated that Huawei Cloud is dedicated to systemic innovation by providing exceptional AI computing through its powerful CloudMatrix supernode. The platform not only supports pioneering Pangu models for essential industrial scenarios but also accommodates a wide array of models and applications, promoted by comprehensive data governance and end-to-end security. These initiatives foster a burgeoning ecosystem that allows partners to grow rapidly.
To reinforce trust among partners, the new policies clearly define business boundaries and market strategies, ensuring a non-competitive environment for profitability. These policies are set to remain unchanged for the next three years. Huawei Cloud is launching five new initiatives aimed at boosting partner profitability through competitive discounts and incentives, strengthening project collaborations for winning more deals, and leveraging the brand to attract new customers and expand market presence.
Creating a Sustainable Partner Ecosystem
In terms of easing partnership management, Huawei Cloud commits to adhering to specific collaboration rules and combatting corruption. Its Partner Central will be revamped to provide a seamless one-stop working environment, enhancing efficiency and collaboration. To support partner growth, Huawei Cloud offers comprehensive backing, including phased support and practical incentives.
Yang remarked, "Cloud and artificial intelligence represent a marathon that has only just begun, spanning 30 years. The partners you choose are as crucial as your endpoint. A genuine partnership is about long-term companionship, not short-term gains. Huawei Cloud is committed to standing by its partners for a mutually sustainable and beneficial future."
The Growth of Huawei Cloud's Partner Network
Li Shi, President of Huawei Cloud Computing Global Sales, highlighted the impressive growth of Huawei Cloud and its partners. In 2025, the number of partners surged by over 50%, with an increase in collaborations as well. Currently, Huawei Cloud boasts more than 40 global distributors outside of China and over 50 core and premier cloud solution provider partners, encompassing an ecosystem of over 4,000 global partners and hundreds of thousands of paid customers.
This partner ecosystem is dedicated to continuously improving trust, profitability, simplicity, and growth, while also redefining customer account classifications and clarifying the responsibilities of Huawei and its partners. Huawei Cloud sustains the stability of this ecosystem and partner success through a tripartite approach that includes incentives, benefits, and regulations. This year marks a comprehensive upgrade of the partner incentive framework, enhancing support for partners’ overall growth through four key elements: amplifying partner voices in Huawei's global media matrix, assisting partners in improving their brand image through over 50 global reference points, increasing the Market Development Fund and promotional support, and inviting partners to participate in Huawei Cloud's global marketing initiatives.
Strengthening Partner Capabilities
Huawei Cloud plans to empower its partners through a bespoke system designed for various roles, from strategic insights to sales applications. To align their visions, CXO-level leaders will benefit from exchanges on industry trends, digital transformation, and AI strategies. Core teams will engage in courses related to business operations, industry insights, and growth strategies, while business development (BD), solution architects (SA), and customer success managers (CSM) will undergo hands-on training, including sales drills and technical workshops.
Dale Chen, Director of Huawei Cloud Asia Pacific Sales Partner Development, shared insights into how Huawei Cloud has become the fastest-growing mainstream public cloud provider in the region and a preferred partner for corporate digital transformation. Over the past five years, Huawei Cloud's annual compound growth rate in the Asia Pacific has exceeded 40%, with more than half of that revenue generated from partners. In the region, Huawei Cloud serves over 50 financial institutions, 200 public and enterprise businesses, and more than 500 internet and cloud-native customers, backed by local teams operating in over 10 countries.
In the Asia Pacific, Huawei Cloud and its partners are focusing on migrating core financial systems to the cloud, supporting operators in their AI transformation, and enhancing operational efficiency and public services for government and internet clients. The AI Token Service is currently live in Hong Kong, with multiple open-source models ready for deployment. Following its Platform + Ecosystem strategy, Huawei works collaboratively with partners in the Asia-Pacific region to create new value for industries.
During the event, partners from Thailand (Vonosis), Singapore (Wormwood), Argentina (Movistar), and Turkey (Logosoft) shared their experiences of exploring global markets and achieving growth together.
