Go-Go Curry and Daiichi Pan
Starting July 1, 2025, Daiichi Pan Co., Ltd., based in Kokubunji City, Tokyo, will unveil two new curry buns in collaboration with the renowned Go-Go Curry Group, headquartered in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa. This collaboration not only highlights the essence of the famous Kanazawa curry craze but also aims to aid the recovery efforts for the Noto Peninsula earthquake victims, with a portion of the sales going to disaster relief funds.
This year marks the seventh edition of the highly anticipated curry buns developed between Daiichi Pan and Go-Go Curry, which have gained immense popularity since their initial release. The new items,
Go-Go Curry Supervised Rich Black Curry Bun and
Go-Go Curry Supervised Baked Cheese Curry Bun, offer a taste of the unique black-colored rich curry that Go-Go Curry is celebrated for.
The Collaboration
The
Go-Go Curry Supervised Rich Black Curry Bun is an innovative creation that envelops a thick and rich black curry, reminiscent of the flavors found in their restaurants. This bun utilizes a combination of beef, vegetable extract, and Worcestershire sauce to create a deep and savory flavor. A touch of black cocoa powder has been included to replicate the distinct dark color and richness that is synonymous with Go-Go Curry.
Another tempting item is the
Go-Go Curry Supervised Baked Cheese Curry Bun. This bun marries the intense flavors of Go-Go's black curry with a creamy Gouda cheese sauce, further enhanced with a toasty cheese powder on the surface. A popular topping at Go-Go Curry restaurants, cheese perfectly complements the curry's rich flavors, providing an irresistible pairing that showcases the toasted aroma of the cheese, making each bite a delightful experience.
Commitment to Relief
Continuing their support from the previous year, Daiichi Pan will again donate a portion of the sales from these new curry buns to support the victims of the Noto Peninsula earthquake. This initiative not only helps those impacted by the natural disaster but also acknowledges the additional challenges faced by the community following severe rainfall last September. Daiichi Pan expresses its heartfelt sympathy and hopes for a swift recovery for all affected.
