The firm has welcomed two new associates, Peter G. Manakos, Esq. and Vivian S. Hadian, Esq., who bring diverse skills and backgrounds to the table, enhancing the firm's capabilities in key practice areas.

New Talent in Key Legal Areas

Peter G. Manakos joins the firm as an Associate in the Liquor Law, Licensing, Manufacturing, and Distribution Practice Group. His unique qualifications stem from a robust background in regulatory compliance and litigation support. Before joining Norris McLaughlin, he worked at a boutique medical malpractice firm where he notably drafted legal motions and managed discovery processes. More than just a lawyer, Manakos has firsthand experience from growing up in a restaurant family, which gives him a distinct perspective on the complexities of Pennsylvania's liquor laws and regulations imposed by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB).

Having initially joined the firm as a summer associate in 2024, she showcased her potential and determination, eventually being promoted after passing the Pennsylvania Bar Exam. Her strong work ethic and passion for real estate law make her a valuable addition to the firm's already respected team.

Academic Accomplishments

Manakos graduated cum laude with his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, where he focused on Business Law, Innovation, and Technology. His academic endeavors were complemented by community involvement, where he volunteered with notable organizations such as the Children's Miracle Network and the Alzheimer's Association. He also holds a B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh.

Hadian earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Temple University, distinguishing herself as part of the National Political Science Honor Society. She later graduated cum laude from Widener University Delaware Law School, contributing as an editor for the law review and participating actively in the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Student Division.
