The long-awaited 2026 Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival is set to take place on August 8th(Saturday), marking its 45th consecutive year. This year features a unique collaboration with the popular band TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), who will unveil parts of their new track 'Setsuna Hanabi' during the festival. This event is not only a celebration of art and music but also a significant charity event aimed at supporting recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Kyushu disasters.

Festival Highlights

The 2026 Jingu Gaien Fireworks Festival promises a spectacular evening filled with approximately 10,000 fireworks that will light up the Tokyo sky starting at 7:30 PM and concluding around 8:30 PM. Attendees can anticipate a dazzling medley that includes an exclusive preview of 'Setsuna Hanabi', which will be featured in full on their 5th Japanese single scheduled for release on August 19th. Additionally, fans can look forward to another new track titled 'Nice to Meet Ya', which is part of a partnership with a beverage brand.

This year follows an exciting tradition that began in prior years, where the festival celebrated the music of notable acts such as Mrs. GREEN APPLE. However, this time, attendees will experience a fresh sound brought by TOMORROW X TOGETHER. Although the band will not perform live at the festival, their music will certainly resonate throughout the event.
