IMG Announces 2025 Leave Your Mark Grant Winners

The International Medical Group (IMG) proudly announced the winners of its ninth annual Leave Your Mark Grant on October 23, 2025. This year's program featured a record-breaking participation of over 4,000 organizations and individuals submitting applications, showcasing the remarkable desire for impactful social good.

Who Are the Winners?

Two organizations and three individuals emerged as winners this year, each demonstrating tremendous commitment to enhancing community welfare and providing critical services.

Organizations:

1. Holistic Ministry of Children of the Horn of Africa (HMCHA) - This faith-based organization is determined to help children in Ethiopia rise from poverty through education and mentorship. They focus on the Oromia region, offering targeted support aimed at helping students graduate, contribute back to their families, and positively impact society. Carol Pfleiderer, HMCHA's Sponsor Coordinator, expressed gratitude for the funding, which will significantly enhance their capabilities to train more teachers and equip local schools with essential resources such as solar lights and textbooks.

2. Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation Indonesia - This non-profit organization strives to provide educational access and basic necessities for families in some of Indonesia's most remote regions. They are equipped to deliver school boats and clean water solutions, addressing the urgent need for safe transportation to schools. Chairperson Meralda Adam elaborated on how the grant will enable them to install vital water filters and deliver educational resources, ensuring safer school access for children in coastal villages.

These individuals support a diverse array of mission-driven initiatives globally. Their projects aim to tackle challenges like church planting and constructing wells in Kenya, bridge building for students in Panama, and community-driven projects focused on public health, education, and women's empowerment.

Justin Poehler, Chief Commercial Officer at IMG, highlighted the outstanding efforts of all recipients, stating, "For the ninth year, we're honored to recognize individuals and organizations who are making a lasting impact through mission and social good work."
