The Elevate Prize Foundation Awards $6 Million to Global Changemakers

The Elevate Prize Foundation recently commemorated its fifth anniversary by recognizing ten groundbreaking winners who are dedicated to enhancing social good across the globe. Announced on February 4, 2025, this initiative allocates a substantial $6 million in unrestricted funding to help these visionaries expand their operations and impact areas, from civil liberties to the empowerment of communities affected by malnutrition.

This year’s recipients are addressing significant global challenges with innovative solutions. Among them is an online hate and disinformation expert who is actively combating challenges on social media, and a celebrated chef focused on rejuvenating Indigenous food systems. Each of the ten winners will receive a grant of $300,000, with $250,000 specifically directed towards their respective organizations and $50,000 allocated for the leaders’ personal health and resilience—a unique benefit in the philanthropic landscape.

Carolina García Jayaram, CEO of The Elevate Prize Foundation, expressed pride in the recent cohort during the unveiling.
