The study involved 123 respondents, consisting of 69 men and 54 women, examining their ongoing interest in the real estate market and price trends after purchasing a used property.

The results revealed that about 72% of respondents expressed concern over the market and price trends of used condominiums post-purchase.

The overwhelming majority reflecting interest in their property’s asset value underscores the strong association buyers have with their real estate as a significant investment. Comments like, "The market affects my selling price, and I want to know if my investment was wise," were common, showing a clear trend of viewing their purchase as an asset. There seems to be a significant emphasis on future resale potential and how it aligns with personal financial growth strategies.

Among those planning for future resale, comments like, "I want to sell it for the highest price when the time comes" and "I'm interested in understanding the selling potential before I move" highlight the strategic planning involved even during the purchasing phase.

Buyers Conscious of Asset Value


Similarly, buyers focused on asset value expressed sentiments such as wanting to know their investment's worth and monitor its changes over time. This indicates a proactive approach to managing their assets over the long term.

Perspective of Reluctant Market Participants


Conversely, around 28% of respondents showed no concern regarding market trends. Their reasoning revealed a different viewpoint:
  • - Contentment with Current Purchase: Many indicated they are satisfied with their purchase and have no plans to sell.
  • - Long-term Residency Plans: Several aim to stay in their selected properties indefinitely.
  • - Disinterest in Market Shifts: A minority expressed indifference, believing worrying about market values serves little purpose given their satisfaction.

Inclination Toward Resale


Inquiring whether respondents might wish to repurchase a condo yielded discernible insights:
  • - Satisfaction with Current Residence: Approximately 70% stated they do not want to buy again, illustrating contentment with their current living situation.
  • - Who Wants to Buy Again?: While 30% are open to the idea, primarily driven by life changes or dissatisfaction with their current property, reasons vary widely.
