Designing the Future: FAW TRUCKS at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026

From September 14 to 20, 2026, Hannover, Germany will host the 72nd IAA TRANSPORTATION, where FAW TRUCKS will present its latest innovations under the theme "Engineering the Next Horizon, The Next Adventure." Known for its leadership in the commercial vehicle industry, FAW TRUCKS will exhibit five vehicle models, including the standout CORTRON CS600, and nine groundbreaking powertrains, thus bridging its rich legacy with forward-thinking aspirations.

Highlighting 70 Years of Excellence

The showcased vehicles not only reflect 70 years of heritage for FAW TRUCKS but also its commitment to driving the future of transportation. Visitors will have the chance to explore three CORTRON CS tractors, which offer both diesel and electric power options. The diesel variants utilize a new generation of self-developed powertrains, successfully improving fuel efficiency by 15%. Meanwhile, the electric version is powered by a high-voltage 800 V platform and supports rapid charging (CCS2) of up to 1,000 A, with an optional Megawatt Charging System (MCS) using single connectors. Also impressive is the dual-motor electric axle, achieving a remarkable transmission efficiency of 94.5%.

Integrating Sustainability and Technology

FAW TRUCKS will also feature nine internal powertrain developments, including the GD300 and ER540 power domains, emphasizing a variety of energy pathways such as conventional fuels, battery power, and hydrogen technologies. This comprehensive showcase highlights FAW TRUCKS' robust internal development capabilities, showcasing its readiness for a more sustainable future.

The exhibition space, located at stand B10 in hall 24, will be designed with themes focusing on Low Carbon Emissions, Zero Carbon Emissions, Ecosystem, and Future Technologies. These segments will chronicle advancements in energy efficiency and emissions reductions for traditional propulsion systems, display an array of new energy products, and explore comprehensive lifecycle solutions alongside advanced technologies for next-generation intelligent logistics. Each vehicle model will have a corresponding QR code for instant access to detailed information, with a dedicated microsite enhancing the interaction.
