LA Art Show: Celebrating Its 31st Year as a Premier Art Fair in Los Angeles

The LA Art Show Returns: A Celebration of Art and Community

The LA Art Show, proudly known as the largest and longest-established independent art fair in Los Angeles, will kick off its 31st edition at the Los Angeles Convention Center's West Hall from January 7 to 11, 2026. Tickets are now available for art enthusiasts looking to immerse themselves in a vibrant array of artworks. This year, 15% of the ticket proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association's Life is Why™ campaign, reflecting the fair’s commitment to community support.

As one of the few privately owned art fairs of such grandeur in Los Angeles, the LA Art Show epitomizes the city’s diverse and multicultural art scene. Producer and director Kassandra Voyagis expressed her gratitude for last year’s milestone 30th anniversary and emphasizes the fair’s role in supporting the local artistic community. “We are thrilled to once again unite galleries, artists, and enthusiasts from across the globe to participate in and celebrate Los Angeles' rich cultural legacy,” she stated.

Highlights of This Year’s Show

One of the primary attractions of the LA Art Show 2026 will be DIVERSEartLA, a non-commercial platform curated by Marisa Caichiolo. This segment aims to delve into contemporary art through the lenses of biennials and museums, examining their collaborative roles and the conflux of artistic innovation. Additionally, a special invitation-only Latin American Pavilion will spotlight the work of emerging artists, adding an exciting international dimension to the event.

In an exciting debut, the exhibit will feature the Provident Fine Art gallery from Palm Beach, showcasing abstract canvas paintings by none other than Sylvester Stallone. Stallone, known primarily as an actor and filmmaker, has pursued painting for years, using it as a channel for his creativity and expression. This exhibition marks his return to the art scene with pieces available for purchase, following prior showings in prestigious museums across St. Petersburg, Russia, and Nice, France.

Attendees can anticipate a robust lineup of over 100 exhibitors, including returning favorites such as LICHT FELD Gallery from Switzerland, Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery from the U.K., Coral Contemporary Gallery from Miami, and many more. Notably, the 2026 show will also introduce the first exhibitor from Ireland, Oliver Sears Gallery. The introduction of first-time exhibitors adds a refreshing element to the fair, expanding its reach and diversity.

Among the highlights will be self-taught artist Chris Rivers, whose vibrant oil paintings draw from his fascination with astronomy and mythology. Rivers, a former professional rock drummer, promises to captivate visitors with his surreal and hand-gilded artworks.

A Commitment to the Arts

The LA Art Show is not just an event; it is a celebration of artistic expression and cultural dialogue. As it embraces its legacy, the fair continues to evolve, ensuring a dynamic presentation of contemporary art trends and a platform for emerging talents. With the global art community coming together, the LA Art Show stands as a testament to resilience and creativity in today’s world.

As the excitement builds for the upcoming fair, the art community eagerly anticipates another successful year. Art lovers can look forward to seeing everything from historical masterpieces to avant-garde contemporary works on display during this impressive event. Following the LA Art Show, the East Coast will host Art Palm Beach from January 28 to February 1, furthering the celebrations and emphasizing art's vital role in society.
