On April 8, 2026, a cutting-edge electric vehicle (EV) charging station was officially inaugurated in Nieuwe Tijd, Duiven, Netherlands. State-of-the-Art Features

Central to the new infrastructure is Zerova's autonomous 60 kW DC fast-charger, recognized for its speed, reliability, and user-friendly design tailored for high-demand public environments. The charger supports ultrafast CCS2 charging and is equipped with backend integration compatible with the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP), ensuring seamless operation, remote monitoring, and future-proof scalability. Users are greeted with intuitive functionality provided by a 7-inch display, RFID user authorization, and smart security features, making the charging experience not only fast but also secure.

Moreover, the station utilizes ten BUIMA energy storage modules, each with a capacity of 4 kWh, aggregating a total of 40 kWh of local energy storage. This integrated setup enhances grid resilience by smoothing out peak demand, stabilizing the electricity supply, and decreasing stress on the local grid, enabling smarter energy management as EV adoption continues to rise.
