Huawei Launches Global Education and Healthcare Partner Alliance

On July 17, 2025, Huawei held the Global Education and Healthcare Partner China Convention, marking a significant milestone in its efforts to drive innovation in the education and healthcare sectors. More than 300 partners from 40 countries attended this pivotal event, highlighting the company's commitment to fostering a collaborative ecosystem.

During the convention, Huawei introduced the Global Education and Healthcare Partner Alliance (GEHPA), an initiative designed to strengthen ties with various industry partners. The goal is to leverage each partner's strengths to foster mutually beneficial cooperation that ultimately leads to a sustainable and high-quality industry ecosystem. Members of the alliance will have the opportunity to conduct joint technical research and develop innovative solutions for the digital transformation of education and healthcare on a global scale.

The rapid advancements in technology, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), are reshaping the education and healthcare landscapes. Ernest Zhang, president of Huawei's Partner Development, Commercial and Distribution Business, emphasized the company's commitment to empowering its partners through enhanced capabilities, collaborative innovation, and exceptional partnership experiences. The objective is to ensure the prosperity of a larger number of partners by serving hundreds of thousands of clients in education and healthcare worldwide.

Furthermore, Li Junfeng, Vice President of Huawei and CEO of the Global Public Sector Business Unit, stated that both sectors are at the forefront of global digital and intelligent transformation. Huawei’s commitment is to work alongside its partners to establish a friendly, mutually beneficial, and sustainable global partnership ecosystem. This will involve the creation of joint solutions, development of the industry ecosystem, adoption of standards, and implementation of innovative cooperation models.

Peter Zhou, Vice President of Huawei and head of the data storage product line, pointed out that comprehensive accumulation of high-quality data within the healthcare industry is crucial for leadership in implementing AI in the sector. He proposed four key initiatives aimed at promoting standardized data and governance within healthcare, creating a shared intelligent infrastructure for diagnostic and treatment data, facilitating the instrumental and standardized development of data modeling, and accelerating the establishment of reliable AI-driven business models for diagnosis and treatment, thereby fostering a positive cycle.

As Huawei looks to the future, the focus will be on strengthening global partnerships, continuously innovating, and applying new technologies in education and healthcare to meet the evolving market needs. In addition, Huawei is committed to advancing the development of the GEHPA, contributing to the sustainable growth of global education and healthcare.

This initiative, which aims to cultivate a collaborative and innovative spirit within these vital sectors, illustrates Huawei's dedication to not just being a technology provider but a leader in fostering collaborative ecosystems that can effectively respond to the challenges posed by a rapidly changing world.
