IsoEnergy Ltd. has officially kicked off its winter exploration program for 2025, targeting the eastern section of the Athabasca Basin in Canada. This initiative is built upon the successes of the previous year's drilling operations and aims to expand the known resources of the high-grade Hurricane deposit located within its Larocque East project.

The 2025 exploration program is ambitious, with plans to conduct approximately 8,800 meters of drilling across several target areas, particularly focusing on resource expansion opportunities surrounding the Hurricane deposit. The program is bifurcated into two primary objectives:

2. Exploration of Greenfield Targets Along the Larocque Trend: An additional 6,000 meters of drilling in fifteen holes will investigate a six-kilometer stretch of the Larocque Trend to the east of the Hurricane deposit. Newly identified target areas, classified as D, E, and F from 2024’s comprehensive data integration, will be the initial focus of this exploratory drilling.

Geophysical Surveys


Alongside drilling, IsoEnergy plans geophysical surveys on their Hawk, Evergreen, and East Rim projects. These surveys are essential for advancing early-stage projects to become drill-ready, with a total budget of $5.3 million allocated for the winter exploration activities in the Athabasca Basin.

The Hurricane deposit is notable for its high-grade uranium content, making it a key asset in IsoEnergy’s portfolio.
