Azilen Pioneers Next Generation of Manufacturing Intelligence through AI Integration

Azilen Technologies is at the forefront of the evolving manufacturing sector, unveiling innovative solutions that interweave Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and sensor technology. This initiative aims to transform traditional manufacturing environments into smart, data-driven operations that can react and adapt in real time. During the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2026, taking place from September 14-19 at Chicago's McCormick Place, Azilen will showcase its advancements in turning factory data into actionable insights.

Transforming Data into Intelligence

The manufacturing industry is experiencing a paradigm shift, moving beyond simple connectivity to an integrated ecosystem capable of sensing, understanding, and optimizing processes on-the-fly. Azilen leverages sensorization—deploying advanced sensors that gather crucial machine data—to create a framework of visibility and intelligence. This data, once harnessed, leads to predictive insights that facilitate proactive and informed production decisions.

Chintan Shah, Vice President of Delivery at Azilen Technologies, emphasized the potential of factory-floor intelligence. “The factory floor is already generating intelligence. The challenge is making that intelligence useful at the point of production. At IMTS 2026, we want to show how that intelligence can actually be leveraged to enhance production capacity and quality.”

Azilen's extensive engineering experience is evident in its innovative architecture, which relies on a multi-protocol IIoT gateway ecosystem. This ecosystem seamlessly connects over 100 manufacturing machines, amassing more than 70 GB of telemetry data per machine each year, and managing upwards of 80 industrial gateways. By supporting technologies such as MQTT, HTTPS, and OPC UA, Azilen facilitates streamlined communication between machines and systems.

Disrupting the Traditional

One of Azilen's standout solutions includes a smart platform tailored for a fleet of over 1,000 commercial dishwashers. This retrofit-first approach integrates hardware, edge processing, and secure connectivity to offer real-time monitoring and remote diagnostics. This design is projected to save businesses up to $1 million over five years by optimizing operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.

Additionally, Azilen focuses on energy intelligence, establishing a comprehensive IoT energy platform that collects telemetry from over 25,000 industrial assets and standardizes over 60 parameters. This paves the way for centralized visibility and AI-driven insights across operations, leading to smarter energy consumption and sustainability practices.

These initiatives proudly illustrate how Azilen is merging edge processing, scalable IoT infrastructure, and advanced AI to enhance the industrial landscape. In doing so, they empower manufacturers to transition from basic machine visibility to predictive insights that signal potential faults early and optimize resource allocation.
