Nasuni Expands Global Innovation with New Engineering Hub in Hyderabad, India
Nasuni, a key player in unified file data platforms, recently announced the launch of its third innovation center in Hyderabad, India. This strategic move is aimed at bolstering the company's global product development capabilities while underscoring its commitment to scaling technical excellence worldwide.
The new India Innovation Center, developed in partnership with Summit Consulting and ANSR, leads the global drive for product innovations, which includes the ability to implement a 5ollow-the-sun6 engineering model. According to Andres Rodriguez, Nasuni's Chief Technology Officer, each center plays a crucial role in advancing technology for Nasuni, enabling teams to act faster and offer solutions that modernize enterprise file infrastructures.
Rodriguez noted, "The expansion into Hyderabad opens up new dimensions of talent and product development velocity, enhancing our global R&D department, a hallmark characteristic that sets Nasuni apart." This innovation center complements existing development facilities in Massachusetts and Ireland, creating a global network of engineering talent that strengthens 24/7 product development.
By establishing the India Innovation Center, Nasuni also aims to attract premier technical talent crucial for driving innovation. The center will be led by Peddareddappa G (GPR), a Senior Director at Nasuni, who emphasized that the collaborative culture and transparency at Nasuni attracted him to lead this endeavor. GPR's aim is to significantly contribute to Nasuni's growth and innovative trajectory in India.
Previous efforts from the Massachusetts team have seen success with the development of the Nasuni Edge Appliance (NEA) and the UniFS® file system, which are integral to the company's platform. Additionally, advancements in customer support have been made through AI-driven self-service tools and problem resolution features that have enhanced customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
As part of its growth strategy, Nasuni recognizes that Hyderabad, often referred to as "Cyberabad," is a vibrant hub for technology and innovation, housing a multitude of influential software firms and a significant technical workforce.
"The India Innovation Center aligns with Nasuni's long-term strategy for international growth and reinforces its operational presence across key global markets," explained Sandeep Sharma, the founder and CEO of Summit Consulting. He added, "This facility will leverage top-tier talent to create innovative solutions and accelerated growth for Nasuni."
Hyderabad is becoming an essential global technology center, and with Nasuni's presence, it enhances the city’s reputation as a breeding ground for technological excellence. The company aims to continually improve its engineering teams' success and adapt to the evolving demand for advanced data management solutions in an increasingly complex data landscape.
In Ireland, the existing team has remained a pioneer in file data analysis with innovative products that provide deeper insights into data usage, assisting companies in managing data growth and implementing smarter storage decisions. The synchronized efforts from these innovation centers internationally ensure that Nasuni is better positioned than ever to meet the challenges of modern businesses straddling various regions and time zones.
