His previous experiences include CIO roles at both the California Dental Association and Nautilus Insurance, where he implemented large-scale systems, launched e-commerce platforms, and introduced agile delivery models.

Lontz's extensive career also includes senior leadership positions at significant organizations such as Liberty Mutual, Cummins, and Price Waterhouse. These roles provided him with a robust foundation in IT strategy, digital enablement, and organizational transformation—key areas that will undoubtedly benefit CSAA in the future.

Academically, Lontz is well-prepared for these challenges, holding a Bachelor's degree in computer and electrical engineering from Purdue University, alongside an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
