Front Row Expands into Seoul: A Gateway for Korean Brands to Thrive in the U.S. Market

Front Row's Expansion into Seoul

Front Row, a global growth partner specializing in helping brands thrive on platforms like Amazon, TikTok Shop, and Shopify, has recently made an exciting announcement: it is expanding into Seoul, South Korea. This strategic move aims to provide Korean brands in the beauty, health, wellness, and pharmacy sectors with direct and localized support for entering and scaling in the U.S. market.

Seoul marks Front Row's sixth global office, joining locations in New York City, San Diego, Hamburg, Bratislava, and Amsterdam. The expansion is in line with the remarkable growth of Korean brands in the U.S., where Amazon has become a significant avenue for reaching American consumers. In fact, Korean skincare sales on Amazon reached a staggering $818 million in the first half of 2026, reflecting an 80% increase from $456 million during the same period in 2025. This growth rate far surpasses the overall skincare category's growth of just 27% on Amazon.

Leading the Seoul office is Jinny Kim, Senior Vice President of Korea. With 25 years of experience at prominent companies like Coupang, Dentsu, Ogilvy, Mintel, and GroupM, Jinny has successfully managed both Korean and global brands across local and international markets. Her extensive expertise will significantly aid in accelerating the growth of Korean brands on a global stage.

Jinny emphasizes, "Korean brands operate at a pace and cultural resonance that is often hard to find elsewhere. Trend cycles are shorter, content and commerce are intertwined, and founders expect a partner who understands this rhythm. My career has been dedicated to mastering this lesson: understanding the nuances of how Korean brands operate while leveraging global infrastructure and commercial excellence that Front Row has built in the U.S. and Europe. My mission is to ensure that K-Beauty, health, wellness, and pharmacy brands can operate at their own pace and accelerate their global expansion."

From Seoul, Front Row will tackle the common challenges faced by growing brands aiming to penetrate the U.S. market. These include:

1. Profitable Growth: Ensuring a smooth trajectory from early market entry to becoming category leaders on platforms like Amazon and TikTok Shop.
2. Regaining Control from Resellers: Helping brands reclaim authority over their product listings, pricing, and online shops, thereby shaping the brand's perception in the eyes of American consumers, rather than allowing unauthorized vendors to do so.
3. Creating Targeted Content: Developing brand-building strategies and content that tailor product narratives, promotional messaging, and visual elements to meet the needs of local buyers.
4. Enhancing Discoverability: Generating demand through retail media, SEO, AI-driven search engine optimization, and innovations for brand-owned Shopify stores.
5. Responding to Real-Time Data: Leveraging Front Row's proprietary business intelligence platform, Catapult, which offers real-time dashboards and AI-powered insights. This enables brands to track performance and respond decisively at critical moments.

As Christopher Skinner, Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer, states, "Korea is shaping far more than just the next wave of K-Beauty; it influences how the global beauty industry approaches innovation, product, content, and commerce. Front Row’s expansion into Korea allows us to connect this ecosystem directly with the expertise we have developed in accelerating brands in beauty, health, wellness, and pharmacy in the U.S. and Europe. With Jinny as our first senior staff member on-site, we are building a bridge in both directions. We help Korean brands turn their local strengths into sustainable global growth while bringing our global partners closer to the innovations and mindsets emerging from Korea."

Front Row plans to celebrate its opening with a special event in Seoul in early 2027, with more details to follow. For those interested in learning more about Front Row and its services, please visit frontrowgroup.com.
