Introducing BACK TO RIVER Echo

Trail Heads Co., Ltd., based in Shibuya, Tokyo, is thrilled to announce the launch of the third installment of the BACK TO RIVER beer series, titled BACK TO RIVER Echo, on July 22, 2025. The BACK TO RIVER project aims to raise awareness and inspire more people to protect the source rivers across Japan.

The Third Edition of BACK TO RIVER

The journey of the BACK TO RIVER series began with a desire to appreciate all those involved in protecting nature. From its inception, this project has focused on expanding its community of supporters. Following the successful release of the first two editions in June 2023 and October 2024, we are excited to introduce BACK TO RIVER Echo.

A Perfect Brew for the Season

Once again, we collaborated with Far Yeast Brewing Co., located in the headwaters of the Tama River in Kosuge Village, Yamanashi Prefecture. Echo promises a delightful taste profile defined as a Saison beer, characterized by both refreshing and light qualities.

Using Nelson Sauvin hops from New Zealand, this brew exudes vibrant aromatics reminiscent of white grapes and offers a crisp, dry finish. The experience of enjoying this beer is akin to a peaceful day spent in nature, where the sounds of birds and flowing water amplify its aroma and aftertaste, creating an ambiance of calm reminiscent of distant echoes in the wilderness.
