GUNMA Atotsugi Conference Vol.01: A Platform for Collaboration
AlphaDrive, a company dedicated to supporting successors in Gunma Prefecture, is thrilled to announce the launch of the
GUNMA Atotsugi Community Event. This initiative is part of a larger program designed to enhance business succession in the area, particularly targeting small and medium-sized enterprises that are navigating the challenges of transitioning to a new generation. The core mission is to foster sustainable growth through innovation and collaboration among successors, commonly known as
Atotsugi.
The GUNMA Atotsugi Community will serve as a collaborative space for local successors, encouraging connections and inspiring a culture of support and innovation among them. Participants will have the opportunity to share ideas, forge partnerships, and engage in extensive discussions focused on evolution and growth within their respective family businesses.
Event Overview
The inaugural event,
Atotsugi GENSEN Conference Vol.01, is set to take place on
September 4, 2025, from
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gunma Prefectural Office's 32nd Floor Co-Creation Space,
NETSUGEN. The event is
attendance free but requires prior registration, with a cap of
30 participants on a first-come-first-served basis. Anyone interested in supporting successors, engaging with peers, or simply exploring the topic is welcome to join.
Participants will engage in discussions surrounding the theme,
"Leveraging External Strengths: Building Cross-Boundary Teams for Atotsugi," which is particularly relevant in today's context of labor shortages and recruitment challenges. This theme aligns with the necessity of incorporating external insights and strengths to create
cross-boundary teams.
Special Guests and Discussions
The event will feature valuable insights from two current Atotsugi who have successfully incorporated external talents into their family businesses. Among our guests,
Tomoka Hatanaka from
Kanesa-en, who is navigating the rebranding of her family business while working remotely as a designer, and
Kenji Sugahara from
Sugihara Shōji, who has welcomed professionals from the Tokyo region to spearhead new business initiatives.
Additionally, the conference will welcome perspectives from support organizations focusing on the participant discussions and interactions, ultimately creating a space to collaboratively explore ways to build supportive networks.
