Bybit’s World Series of Trading 2026: A New Era of Trading Competition
Bybit has announced the grand opening of registration for its flagship event, the
World Series of Trading (WSOT) 2026, as of October 30, 2026. The competition is set to feature a staggering prize pool of up to
10 million USDT, attracting traders from across the globe to compete in various asset classes, including cryptocurrencies, stocks, and
AI-powered trading strategies.
An Expanding Arena
This year’s WSOT introduces a significant evolution from previous editions. Under the theme
“The World Trades Here,” the competition now spans beyond cryptocurrencies into a broader
multi-asset trading format. Participants can engage in the
Global Assets Showdown and
AI Showdown, competing in diverse markets such as equities and commodities like gold and oil.
The transformation reflects Bybit's dedication to evolving into a comprehensive platform that caters to an expansive array of financial instruments, thereby creating a more inclusive trading experience for its diverse user base. In 2025, WSOT attracted over
520,000 participants, setting a Guinness World Record with the highest number of contestants registering within 24 hours. Bybit aims to surpass these metrics this year.
Registration and Participation
Starting from
10 AM UTC on October 30, traders worldwide can register at
bybit.com/wsot2026. Notably, there’s
no minimum capital requirement to join the contest, making it accessible to traders of all levels.
Participants can lead a team or join existing teams, with team leaders eligible to recruit members after their applications are approved. Individual participation remains an option, allowing traders to compete solo if they prefer.
The Preheat Quest
As part of the registration process, participants can join the
Preheat Quest featuring five distinct trading arenas, including
New Invite,
Spot,
Derivatives,
TradFi, and
Bybit AI. Completing tasks in these arenas yields rewards, kicking off the competition with incentives from day one.
Moreover, to boost fair participation, traders are advised to maintain a minimum balance of
100 USDT for five minutes in their Unified Trading Accounts to qualify for the rankings in both the
PL (Profit/Loss) and
PL% categories.

This edition of WSOT showcases a strategic integration of

Among the new additions:
- - Global Assets Showdown: This consists of volume leaderboards for both spot trading in assets and perpetual contracts for traditional financial instruments.
- - AI Showdown: A separate leaderboard dedicated to traders using the Bybit AI feature, where performance will be evaluated based on profit and loss.
