Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants Reveals Expanded 51-100 List for 2025
On November 18, 2025, Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants revealed the extended list showcasing establishments ranked from No.51 to No.100. This announcement highlights the dynamic and diverse culinary landscape across Latin America. Composed based on votes from 300 industry experts, the list features restaurants from 26 cities, reflecting the rich gastronomic talent in the region.
The announcement comes as anticipation builds towards the prestigious award ceremony for the Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants 2025, which is set to take place on December 2nd in Antigua, Guatemala, sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna.
This year's ranking includes 13 newcomers from 11 cities, notably featuring the restaurant Shizen in Lima at No.62. São Paulo leads with six restaurants making the list, an increase from 2024. Among this year's entries, five are returning favorites alongside the new establishment Cepa at No.73. In addition, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Panama City, and Santiago contribute four entries each.
Mexico City holds the No.51 spot with Pujol, followed closely by Salvador's Origem at No.52. The list brings attention to several other noteworthy newcomers, including Umi (No.72) and Caleta (No.91) in Panama City, as well as Oseille (No.65) in Rio de Janeiro, and Em (No.71) in Mexico City. Caracas boasts La Casa Bistró at No.89, while Bogota features Selma at No.96 and Fukasawa at No.100 in Santiago. El Papagayo in Cordoba rejoins the ranking at No.78.
Guatemala City sees its first-ever entry with Ana at No.94, earning the American Express One To Watch Award. Aguají at No.88 in Sosúa enters the ranking under leading chef Inés Páez Nin, who received the 2025 Champions of Change Award.
