The Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel, located in Koto City, Tokyo, is excited to announce the launch of the "Ariake Spring Photo Contest 2026," aimed at highlighting the region's charm through the lens of creativity. Running from March 15 to April 30, 2026, this contest invites photographers and community members to capture the essence of spring in Ariake.

The Allure of Ariake in Spring

Ariake is renowned for its breathtaking landscape surrounded by sea and sky, paired with a vibrant display of seasonal flowers. During the spring season, the cherry blossoms near Tokyo Big Sight burst into bloom, painting the streets in gentle hues reminiscent of the season. Complementing this scene, the Symbol Promenade Park surrounding the hotel is adorned with approximately 500,000 tulips from mid-March through mid-April, creating a striking panorama where both cherry blossoms and tulips are in full bloom simultaneously. We encourage participants to submit captivating photos showcasing these springtime wonders on Instagram, using designated hashtags.

Exciting Contest Details

This year's photo contest welcomes submissions under the themes "Ariake Spring" or "Spring Special Breakfast Buffet." To enter:

2. Post your themed photo along with an engaging title using the designated hashtags: #有明の春 and #東京ベイ有明ワシントンホテル.

Five outstanding entries will be selected: four that capture the enchanting essence of Ariake in spring, and one that best represents our spring breakfast offerings. Winners will receive a Pair Stay Invitation Ticket for one night, complete with breakfast, at our recently renovated guest rooms.

Spring Special Breakfast Buffet

In addition to the contest, our hotel’s first-floor restaurant, Georgetown, will host a special cherry blossom-themed breakfast buffet from March 15 to April 30, 2026. Enjoy dishes such as sakura rice porridge, bamboo shoot and sakura shrimp chawanmushi, and sakura-flavored panna cotta. Buffet hours are as follows:

• - Weekdays: 6:30 AM – 10:00 AM (Last entry at 9:30 AM)
• - Weekends and Holidays: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM (Last entry at 10:00 AM)

Prices for the buffet are set at ¥3,080 for adults, ¥1,430 for elementary school students, and free for preschool children, inclusive of tax and service charges. However, please note that menu items may vary based on ingredient availability.

Judging and Awards
