JUNKLESS® Unveils National Contest for Female College Athletes to Secure Their First Brand Deal

JUNKLESS® Launches National NIL Contest

JUNKLESS®, known for its wholesome snacking options, is making waves in the athletic community with its newly launched NIL contest aimed at female college athletes. Partnering with influential athlete Livvy Dunne, this initiative is designed to empower young women in sports by providing them with a platform to showcase their talent and creativity.

A Champion for Female Athletes

Livvy Dunne, a trailblazer in the world of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals, has taken the charge to support female athletes in their branding endeavors. Recognized as one of the highest-earning female college athletes, Dunne's involvement with JUNKLESS® underscores her commitment to fostering equal opportunities for women in sports. "When I started out, female athletes didn't have a roadmap for NIL — we built it ourselves. That's why I started the Livvy Fund – to help provide resources and opportunities for female athletes in college to build their platforms for long-term success," said Dunne.

Contest Details and Opportunities

The contest is open to female athletes currently enrolled in a U.S.-based college or collegiate athletic team for the 2026-2027 academic year. Participants will need to create and post engaging videos featuring JUNKLESS Protein and/or Granola Bars on social media, aiming to organically attract views. The ten entries with the highest view counts will advance to a final judging round where the winner will be selected by Livvy herself, based on criteria such as creativity and audience engagement.

The grand prize winner will be awarded a semester-long NIL brand deal along with $4,500 in cash, a semester’s supply of JUNKLESS products for both herself and her team, and the title of JUNKLESS Athlete. Furthermore, she will receive monthly features across the brand's social media channels from late September through December. Additionally, nine finalists will each take home $1,000 and product prizes.

Empowering Future Generations

Chris Pruneda, the COO of JUNKLESS®, expressed the company's dedication to supporting female athletes, stating, "Providing support and working to secure equal opportunities for female athletes in college sports is a cause dear to our brand partner, Livvy Dunne." This contest not only emphasizes the importance of athlete representation but also aims to create a launchpad for the future endeavors of these talented individuals.

How to Participate

Entries for the contest can be submitted via Instagram by posting videos that highlight JUNKLESS products. Athletes can submit multiple entries until the deadline of September 15th. This innovative approach aims to empower young athletes by letting them leverage social media’s reach in a competitive yet supportive environment.
