Kamogawa Sea World, a flagship facility of Granvista Hotels & Resorts located in Chiba, Japan, recently unveiled a new exhibit featuring the incredible flying fish. The exhibition has generated excitement as these unique fish are known for their mesmerizing ability to glide above the water's surface, attracting visitors of all ages.

The flying fish, especially popular as a summer fish, makes its presence felt from early summer to early autumn around the coastal waters of the southern Boso region. Adept at catching the eye, these fish exhibit distinctive behavior; their rapid digestion means they must feed frequently, which poses unique challenges for their care within an aquarium setting. The specimens on display in this exhibit were captured using fixed nets set up in the local waters of Kamogawa, with the caretakers dedicated to ensuring they acclimated well to their new environment by providing them with several feedings each day.
