Global Gaming Women Welcomes New Leadership

In an empowering move for the gaming industry, Global Gaming Women (GGW) has officially appointed Siobhan Lane as the new President and Board Chair. Lane, who is currently the Group Chief Executive Officer of Gaming at Light & Wonder, Inc., is set to take on this important role beginning January 1, 2026. She steps into this position following the tenure of outgoing president Lauren Bates.

Lane has been instrumental in the growth and development of GGW, previously serving as the organization’s 1st Vice President. Her leadership is anticipated to further expand GGW's initiatives aimed at supporting and inspiring women within the gaming sector.

With Brandi Ellis, an industry veteran, stepping in as the new 1st Vice President, and Adriana Kasunic, currently the Vice President of People Operations at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, named the 2nd Vice President, GGW is positioning itself for vibrant transformation. These changes come as part of a larger strategy to build a supportive network focused on female empowerment in gaming, which continues to be an underrepresented field.

During an announcement, Lauren Bates expressed her gratitude towards GGW’s community, stating how their collective efforts have achieved significant milestones, including attracting over 3,000 new members, launching ten new programs, and creating educational opportunities that expanded into two new countries.
