NCB Hall: A New Cultural Hub in Hakata

The hall is a cooperative effort between Theatre Workshop, represented by President Masashi Ito, and the NCB Hall Foundation, chaired by Hidetaka Murakami. Starting December 1, 2025, reservations for the hall will be open for use beginning September 1, 2026. Interested parties can inquire about availability prior to making a reservation, ensuring a seamless booking process.
A Versatile Venue
NCB Hall will feature a spacious main area with an impressive layout, complete with a mobile stage. With a total area of approximately 400 square meters for the hall and an additional 240 square meters for the foyer, attendees will find ample space for various events. The seating capacity includes up to 398 seats in theater style and 252 in classroom format.
Technical Aspects of the Hall
The stage will include both liftable and movable sections, maximizing versatility in event design. The overall stage area will extend 11.3 meters wide and 4.5 meters deep, with a height ranging from 0 to 60 cm. The moveable stage section measures 5.9 meters wide and is 45 cm high, allowing for easy adjustments depending on the type of performance or event.
With a ceiling height of approximately 7 meters, NCB Hall promises an outstanding acoustic experience, essential for music and theatrical performances. As part of the Western Japan City Bank’s redevelopment project, NCB Hall is positioned to become a community anchor, fostering cultural exchanges and memorable experiences.
