Results of Summer 2025: Top Companies Chosen by University Students for Job Hunting

Results of the Summer 2025 Job Ranking for University Students

In the vibrant labor market of 2025, where companies are vying to attract top talent amidst a favorable hiring environment, the survey conducted by Diamond Human Resources sheds light on the most favored companies among graduates of 2027. This year marks the 49th iteration of the survey, which began in 1978, aimed at uncovering student preferences as they prepare for their future careers.

The survey targeted approximately 3,692 students who are set to graduate in March 2027, including both undergraduate and graduate students. The rankings are particularly crucial as companies can utilize information obtained from internships, provided they meet certain criteria, in their recruitment efforts. The market for summer internships continues to thrive as companies adapt to the workforce shortage caused by the aging population.

Highlights of the Survey Results

Popularity of General Trading Companies

Both male and female students have shown an unwavering preference for general trading companies, which dominate the top ranks due to their robust business models, successful working reforms, and initiatives aimed at improving young employees' treatment.
