Nagi Nemoto Unveils Indigo Dyed Handkerchiefs for Care Farming Initiative
In an exciting blend of agriculture and social welfare, Nagi Nemoto, the official ambassador for JA Town, has launched limited edition indigo dyed handkerchiefs. This initiative is part of the
Care Farm Project, a segment of her YouTube series, "Nagi Nemoto: Nourishing Connection," where she collaborates with individuals working at Saitama Fukko Co., Ltd. The project aims not only to create beautiful products but also to support the development of care farms that bring together community members of all ages.
The handkerchiefs, available for purchase starting
November 13th, will be sold exclusively on the JA Town online store. With only
100 pieces available at a price of
2,000 yen each (including tax), these products are designed to promote local craftsmanship and sustainability. A portion of the profits will be directed towards building care farms that foster interactions and connections among the elderly and children in the community.
The indigo dyed handkerchiefs, known as "Indigo Daily Cloths,” are crafted through a hands-on process that involved harvesting and dyeing alongside the staff of Saitama Fukko. Nagi Nemoto was joined by Karin Matoba from the idol group Rainbow Conquistadors, who assisted in the dyeing process, ensuring that each piece reflects a collaborative spirit. Customers can expect three unique dye patterns—complete dye, 'Sky of Yumenuwa,' and gradient—adding an element of surprise to their purchases.
