On December 7, 2025, Yoshida Corporation, based in Taito, Tokyo, will host a public lecture at the Saitama Convention Center as part of the 36th Annual Meeting and Academic Conference of the Japanese Sports Dentistry Association. The conference aims to bridge the worlds of sports and dental health by exploring how oral care can enhance athletic performance.

The public lecture features a special discussion between Kazutaka Yamanaka, the President and CEO of Yoshida Corporation, and former Japan national soccer team player Keisuke Tsuboi. This unique event is more than just a presentation; it promises to deliver valuable insights applicable to athletes, dental professionals, and the general public.

The public lecture is structured into two parts:
1. Keynote Speech: The Power of Sports and Dentistry

Following the keynote speech, Tsuboi and Yamanaka will engage in a dialogue discussing the fusion of sports medicine and dental healthcare. Yoshida Corporation has been at the forefront of developing dental products such as mouthguards and providing vital information to support dental care in sports. They aim to explore new initiatives and perspectives on athlete support through combined insights from dental professionals and athletes.

Speakers' Profiles



Keisuke Tsuboi


Keisuke Tsuboi graduated from Yokkaichi Chuo Technical High School and later from Fukuoka University. He joined the Urawa Reds in 2002, where he played a pivotal role in defense as a rookie. In the same year, he received awards such as Rookie of the Year and the Fair Play Award. Tsuboi made his debut for the Japan national team in 2003 and was selected for the J-League Best Eleven. His remarkable career also included participating in the 2006 World Cup in Germany. After a long tenure at Urawa Reds, he transferred to Shonan Bellmare and later contributed his wealth of experience to Renofa Yamaguchi before retiring from professional soccer in 2019. Since 2020, he has been active in promoting soccer through coaching, commentary, and media appearances.

Kazutaka Yamanaka


Kazutaka Yamanaka has been leading Yoshida Corporation, Japan's oldest dental machinery manufacturer, founded in 1906. The company supports dental care development by providing medical devices and consulting services to dental practices across Japan. Under his leadership, Yoshida has committed to creating a future where dental healthcare thrives, contributing to both industry professionals and the community.
